Fantastic location and the prettiest charming room with a lovely view!!
We stayed at this fantastic little hotel situated, roughly 5 minute walk from Avenue des Champs-Elysees, for 3 nights, across September weekend. On arrival, the staff were prompt and informative and quickly got us to our room after a long day of travelling. We were told breakfast was available each morning and brought to our room for just €8, which we thought was very reasonable. We didn’t try the food, so cannot comment on the quality. The hotel has recently been redecorated and was simply stunning. Very modern and a pleasant surprise - very different from the photos we had seen upon booking. Spotlessly clean, maid serviced our room with fresh towels etc every day and she was lovely and polite. Bed was very comfortable and spacious. The balcony and city view was nothing short of perfect. Location was perfect. Local supermarket “Franprix” is less than 5 minutes walk away. Avenue des Champs-Elysees - 5 minutes walk. Arc de Triomphe - 10 minutes walk. Eiffel Tower - roughly 30 minutes walk, however, the metro station “Miromesnil” is roughly 2-3 minutes away and well connected throughout the city. We got the metro to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Notre Dame and nothing was more than 4 stops away. Can, also, get this metro station to Charles De Gualle Airport. This journey only costs €10 per person and takes about 1hr 45. Great hotel and we will ....
I stayed here for a couple of nights in early May. Staff were very friendly and accommodating-- wonderful continental breakfast every morning and brought me a hair dryer to borrow when my voltage converter died. Can't beat the price for the quality and neighborhood-- 8th Arr. The place is very clean, the decor a mix of updated convenience and well-preserved old Paris charm. Martine the Receptionist's dog is a fixture on premises and so sweet and adorable! A lovely, lovely little hotel I would definitely stay at again. As with many older Parisian buildings, you don't get the elevator throughout the hotel, so don't book a room above the 5th floor, though I found the spiral-ish staircase up to the 6th fun, even having to navigate it with my suitcase. Though completely functional, the elevator is appropriately antique-ish (tiny) as well, so if there's more than one of you with more than one suitcase per person, you'll be making multiple trips. The bed was even more comfortable than my own at home!
